East Algarve Magazine April edition
The April edition of East Algarve Magazine is almost ready and will be out on the streets next week. Here is a quick preview of the cover and as you can see we will be focussing on Fuseta this week, preventing the dreaded mould in your house (after a long wet winter like we have just had this is proving to be a popular topic). You can also learn how to grow lettuces amongst other things and how could we forget the Miss Tavira competition being held at The Meeting Room? Here’s Katie, the editors, April welcome:
Spring is here at last. I’m looking forward to eating my childrens easter eggs, but not to the fortnight of entertaining them while they’re off school. Lets hope the beautiful weather enables us to get out more.
I have featured Fuseta this month, the only place I find truly relaxing, and somewhere I go to forget all my worries. This unspoilt fishing village holds so much charm and beauty, friendly locals and great food… well worth a visit. Thank you for all your letters, especially about the dreaded mould problem. We’ve printed some of them in this issue, along with another feature offering advice on mould prevention.

I do enjoy your magazine and really look forward to obtaining a copy. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed several times as I didn’t visit Intermarche in S’Bras on the right day!!! They just fly off the shelves and I think people tend to take more than one copy for friends, etc. Is there any way I can get hold of back copies?
Hi Sonia, unfortunately there is not much we can do about that. In the future we may build some kind of subscription service, payable online. However It’s good to know that this month will be the biggest print run yet, so here’s to hoping you get your copy!
